Wedding at the Beach
If you dream of getting married at the beach, we can make your dreams come true! From a private, just-the-two-of-you ceremony to a larger get-together for your family and friends, let our staff handle your special day. Our wedding planning service can coordinate all the details—flowers, photographer, wedding cake, an officiate, live music, and of course, a fantastic reception. Also, for the ceremony, we can provide an arbor on the beach, beautifully decorated with palm fronds and tropical flowers. We offer alfresco patio dining or our air-conditioned dining room. We set up our dining room in white tablecloths with banana leaves as chargers---really pretty for your reception. 1 hour from Guaitil, an indigenous town, where you can still witness some of the Indian culture that is left in the Guanacaste province. Guaitil is famous for its pottery, and you can buy directly from the artisans.
1 hour from Barra Honda National Park with several caves that you can visit.
1 hour and 30 minutes from Palo Verde National Park with crocodiles in River Tempisque, and more than 250 species of birds.
2 hours from Santa Rosa National Park with 10 different natural habitats and an incredible variety of flora and fauna: 75 kinds of mammals, 260 species of birds, more than 2,000 kinds of butterflies
2 hours and 30 minutes from Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve with its rich and varied wild life.

With a warm climate most of the year, the Samara area is known for great weather. It is reliably sunny most of the time. Because we are so close to the equator, there is no real winter here. In the dry season, we seldom have any rain. In the green season, you can expect some afternoon or evening showers, though in the tropics that is the perfect time to lounge around and read a book. Pack for warm weather at the beach. If you are also staying in San Jose or any of the highland areas, a sweater will come in handy.
